This piece was inspired by the original Eve and the apple, and then Snow White and her apple. Consequently I decided to include the evil step-sisters. Well into this piece, I realized that Snow White didn’t have any sisters, step or otherwise. That was Cinderella. So I thought: screw it. We all have our apples and most of us have an evil sister or two to contend with.
